We’re looking for skilled drivers who can safely operate passenger minivans while providing quality customer service. This role offers a unique chance to engage with the local community as you transport passengers on various trips around town. Whether it’s early morning commutes or late-night pickups, you’ll be the welcoming presence behind the wheel, ensuring passengers arrive at their destinations securely and with a smile. Through our training, you’ll gain expertise in safely transporting ADA customers, operating our driver tablets, and effectively engaging with riders.

Service Description

What is Milpitas SMART and MoGo Morgan Hill Quick Ride?
Milpitas SMART and MoGo offer affordable rides to the cities’ commuters, by supporting and complementing the existing bus and rail services. The on-demand rideshare services offer trips to and from fixed points citywide, with stops at downtown, shopping centers, schools, recreation facilities, businesses, and community spaces!  The service is for short trips and uses small vehicles (seating up to 5 customers).

Location: Morgan Hill & Milpitas, CA
Job Requirements:

• A valid class C driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least two years of driving experience.
• Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find different locations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers.
• Time management and organizational skills to keep track of pick up and drop offs of passengers when requested.
• Physical stamina and good upper body strength to be able to assist passengers in boarding, load luggage or other heavy objects, and safely secure wheelchairs onboard.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with no major driving violations.

Job Type: Full-time
Starting Salary: $22.75 – $23.00 per hour

Day / Afternoon / Evening Shifts
Monday to Saturday

Ability to commute/relocate: Milpitas, CA 95035: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work. (Required)

Experience:

• Driving: 2 years (Required)
• License/Certification: Non-CDL Class C (Preferred)
• Work Location: In person
